Reps call on President Buhari to sack NEMA's boss over an alleged N33bn fraud

The Speaker Dogara led Houses of Representatives has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to relieve the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Mustapha Maihaja, of his duties over the alleged mismanagement and embezzlement of “over N33 bn.”

An ad hoc committee of the House investigated the operations of NEMA under Maihaja and recommended his sacking
The House has just approved the recommendation of the panel, which is chaired by a member from Gombe State, Mr. Ali Isa.
