Appeal court sentences UBEC's former chairman to 41 years imprisonment in Sokoto

As the fight against corruption continues in the country, a five-man panel of the Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto and presided over by Justice Hannatu Sankey has sentenced the Chairman of the Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Murtala Adamu Jengebe, to a cumulative jail term of 41 years.

As the corruption fight in the country continues, the EFCC has arraigned one Christopher Okeke alongside his company, Sanfill Nigeria LTD before Justice D.Z Senchi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Jabi, Abuja on a two-count charge of obtaining by false pretence to the tune of N15,300,000 (Fifteen Million Three Hundred Thousand Naira).
