APC mourns as its state chairman in Cross River die in a fatal car crash

The Cross River state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been hit with a sad report as Dr. Mathew Achigbe, the state chairman of the party has died in a fatal motor accident along Afikpo Road, Ebonyi State.

Board Chairman, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and APC Cross River Central Senatorial candidate, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba confirmed his demise, saying, “it is a tragic incident and a personal loss to me and the party. It was a fatal one, as there were casualties in the other vehicle, but his driver and personal assistant survived.”
The party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole inaugurated Achigbe as the state Chairman of APC on August 22, though the Pastor Usani Usani-led group, which produced Mr. Godwin Etim John, is still challenging his emergence in court
